I've just replace the large dual element burner as the power wire connector feeding the center burner was a little loose and it arced and wrecked the tab.

The replacement, when I power both elements, the outer element is a little dimmer than the main inner section. The adjacent dual-element, a little smaller but labeled as 'power boil' gives equal luminosity of both elements when on.

Is the one I replaced faulty or is it by design to not be as hot on the outer ring?

Thanks.
