Gas Stove Display Shorts Out when Burner Is Turned On
Model Number: FGF366CCB Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I bought a Frigidaire Gas Stove (FGF366CCB) about 5 years ago now. It has had the below problem since I bought it I believe, but since it is very rarely used I never took the time to have it looked at.
The problem: When I light anyone of the top 4 burners the clock diplay (which controls the oven) simply shuts off (blank display - no power). I need to flip the circuit breaker to get the display to work again. The burners all light and work just fine. The light in the oven still works even when the display stops working. The oven works fine. In fact, when I turn the oven on first, then light one of the top burners (successfully), the oven continues to work and the display stays on as it should. The display only shuts off when I try to light a top burner and the oven is not currently on. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts / advice. Thanks! Dave Ads By Google Related Models
