Model Number: rb787wh2ww Brand: Hotpoint Age: 1 - 5 years
This range is a glass cooktop with "Hot Surface" warning lights on the back panel. The light for the left side is now staying on until the surface cools down to about 75 degrees (approx 105 degrees is the normal shut off temp). It will also come on when it hasn't been used if it gets warm in the house. I can not find the sensor for this in the schematics on this site. I have no idea how this light is controlled. Anyone know?
