Looking for suggestions:
Bought a Maytag built-in oven at a Habitat for Humanity store. They said it worked fine. Got it installed and it worked great one time. The next time I tried to use it, after the time limit to return, (naturally), it wouldn't heat. All the buttons on the keypad worked, it just wouldn't heat up. I tested all the components and the control board was bad. I sent it to ************************.com and they fixed it. Seem to be good people. After receiving the board back and installing it, none of the keypad buttons work. I power it up and the clock led just flashes. I can't make it do anything else. Spoke with the people that repaired the board and they suggested cleaning the data strip from the keypad to the board. I did that but still no success. The keypad is nla so if I can't get it going I'm screwed! Anyone have any ideas? I am planning on sending the board and the keypad back to the repair shop, (they said they would look at it to see if they could get it going), but if they can't fix it, I guess I'm parting out an oven!
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
