Trying to help friend on an island replace his cracked glass cooktop which is dropped into countertop as seen in photo.
Have the part (WB62T10565) and am wondering how to best remove old broken glass cooktop so we can replace with new one.
Having trouble knowing best way to proceed as it appears (as in photo) the glass cooktop is secured to a shallow burn box (metal).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
