We moved into a house with a nice Whirlpool in-wall oven ... model # WOS51EC0AS00.
It was baking poorly. First tray of cookies were about right, second batch were dark, last batch were nearly black. We bought an oven thermometer and saw that the oven would keep heating past its set point, reaching 50 degrees or more over set point.
I have checked the temperature probe, it reads 1088 Ohms at room temperature. That seems to indicate that it is healthy. What is the next step? There is the control panel, the display and the PCB that everything connects to. Any way to know which one of those parts is causing the problem?
