I have the Jenn-air Expressions double electric oven model ww30430b. The digital display is very light. It is barely visable in almost complete darkness. All functions still work just unable to see what's on the desplay. Any ideas as to what needs to be done or replaced

Very common problem.
The control board needs replacing.

OR

The usual cause of the display fading and eventually blacking out is that the capacitor/s on the control board start to leak internally. They then cannot hold a charge as good and the display fades out. Many people have had success just replacing these capacitors but you need some soldering/electronics experience.

Thanks for the info. I do have some experiance in soldering so I'll give that a try before replacing the board. I'll take the board off later this week and look at the capcitors.

One thing to pay special attention to is the polarity of the capacitors.
Be sure to note the + and - leads.
