Default Maytag oven (range) control panel only displays temp of 100
Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a maytag range (I don't have the model number right now, I will get it shortly). On the control panel when I click 'bake' the display shows a temperature of 000 and then I click the 'more' button and it goes to 350 and then I leave it and then the display shows a temperature of 100. The oven heat turns on. I open the oven and I see red glow heating and after a few minutes the oven is very hot (most definitely above 100), but the control panel display shows only a temperature of 100. I click 'bake' and then 'less' and bring the temperature to 200, but the oven stays on and keeps increasing in temperature. It seems like the temperature sensor is broken? Or perhaps the control panel? What do you think is most likely the problem?
