We have a Bosch cooktop that was installed in a new home and has been used less than 2 weeks. Unfortunately the builder bought the appliances at least 6 months before the house was finished - so they are not under warranty. With the hood light on we discovered a hairless crack running most of the way from front to back. I have found that you carry the glass top to fix this cooktop, but we don't see how to get the glass disconnected from the burner part of the unit. I have watched a video, but it was another brand.

Thanks for your help.
