Retrofit Wb27T10190 Control
Model Number: JMP28B0C1AD Brand:
More than 10 years
I have a GE electric range/stove(DROP IN TYPE). the model number i listed above is correct, except maybe the 0 or an O? but either way it has been discontinued! the oven control has bit the dust! i know it's pretty old,but i need to fix it,and everything else works, although the the front left burner(the large one) seems like you can't control the burner temperature no matter where you set it to! my main concern right now is the oven though..the Oven Control Board i have in there now is Part# WB27T10174...and the one i ordered, which is discontinued also, but i found a new one with the new wire harness and a couple of jumper wires in the kit is an Oven Control Board Part# WB27T10190.the oven control will be here Friday 3-24-2017,and from what i have gathered,is that the instructions are worthless? My QUESTION is,can someone help me with this wiring Modification?. i know the plug that comes with the new board is a 6 pin plug with one pin not used and looks like the orange and blue wires are not in the order as my old 5 pin one,but i guess that is the way the new board is configured, and i assume i have to cut my wires and splice them to the wires on the new plug, and also maybe have to add some or all of the jumper wires? i am going to have to replace the clock plate also,Part# WB27K5337 black, because my PLUS TRIANGLE button has a hole in it from someone abusing it! that's the easy part. Anyone out there that can help me with this,i would appreciate it so very much! Thanks,Stevieray
