Default Dacor dual fuel oven
Model Number: RSD305   Brand: Dacor   Age: 5 - 10 years

When using the oven, the temperature is off by about 100 degrees when you bake using the bake only option. However when using the convection bake option the temp is almost correct maybe 10-20 degrees off. I think there is a problem with the bottom element since things don't crisp up well. Is the element bad or could it be something else? Please help.

The first thing I would check is the oven temperature sensor resistance.

In suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.

If the reading is wrong - replace the oven temperature sensor.

If there is nothing wrong, then replace the ERC (electronic range control).

- The part number for the oven temperature sensor is AP3394241

- The part number for the ERC is AP3390975

The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test or measure a resistance using either an analog meter or a digital meter – How to check continuity with Ohmmeter.

Gene.
