We have a five burner gas Whirlpool range.

When I turn any of the four corner burners on to ignite, the center igniter fires - bit it does not light due to the center knob not being turned. The burner that is turned on ignites fine. This is true for all four corner burners.

When I fire the center it is the only one that fires and it lights fine. If I turn on any of the other four burners while the center burner is lit the igniter still fires.

This issue began after cleaning the stove top so I'm thinking it may have something to do with it. I did ignite the center burner and let it burn for about 25 minutes in hopes of drying it out, but the problem persists.

I also have let it air dry for an hour or so.

Thanks for any advice you can give.
