I have a Tappan gas range, model 285647B. The front left burner won't light. The back right burner wouldn't light either. I replaced the ignitors. That fixed the back right (it had a chip out of it and wasn't sparking), but didn't fix the front left burner. For the heck of it, I switched the leads going to the front left and rear left burners and now they both light! Is this OK to do? Will it cause any other problems, or doesn't it matter which burner each lead goes to?
