I have a fridgidair self cleaning oven. While cleaning the front panel, somehow we managed to disable the clock display. If I press the clock button, the time will appear for 5 seconds and then disappear again.

The manual says to push the clock button for 15 seconds to turn the feature back on but on my electric range, when I push the clock button for 15 seconds, it goes to a menu where I can select either for the oven to turn off after 12 hours of operation or to stay on continuously.

Is there another method of toggling the clock feature so that the time display remains on permanently?
