I have a five burner GE Profile cooktop and the middle burner (long, oval shape) suddenly stopped lighting. I ordered a new igniter and after watching a few videos started the repair. After testing everything and verifying 5x5 sparks I lowered the cooktop and when trying again none of the I noticed that none of the igniters were firing from the top.

Attached are two videos showing what I am seeing, it's clear that even with the cooktop up the igniters are firing at the bottom half and with the cooktop closed it's all underneath the hood.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!
