Hi guys I am totally stumped. I have a Hotpoint RGB745BEA5WH oven that will not heat up. I have replaced the ignitor /thermocoupler and it will not turn orange/heat up. The broiler worked the other day so I assumed it was the other thermocoupler for the oven. After I removed the element I was unable to get continuity (juice) while touching the two wires that connect to the coupler, using a continuity tester. I did turn the oven on and did hear the board engage, but the ignitor will not turn on at all - no red or orange. The safety switch had continuity after taking off the wires and using an analog multimeter. The old ignitor had continuity as well via the multimeter, so it was good in the first place.
**Is there any kind of switch I need to reset on the safety valve to get the ignitor to heat up? I do see a red switch on something that connects to the safety valve in the broiler part of the stove. Does this sound like the control board?
Note I have gas on the range part of the stove. Thanks in advance guys!
