I've reviewed several threads on this subject but haven't quite settled on what my issue is. I have a Whirlpool GFG461LVS1. Natural gas. Recently, the oven started acting up. We turn it on and it will light (after a delay of a few seconds) but will not stay lit. Broiler seems to be ok.

Here's what I've done so far...

Removed valve and checked it with multimeter.
- both broiler and oven registered 204 Ohms
- checked gas valve terminals when it was sparking and it registered 12DCV first and then dropped to 9DCV. Sparking seemed ok.

I removed the bottom plat and then the flame spreader thing to look at the burner. I hooked up the valve and tested the oven with it open like this. It would light, stay lit for a few seconds and then go out. I then tried it with the oven door closed and it stayed on. Switched back and forth between broiler and oven and it all worked. Put the spreader and other cover back on, thinking I had resolved it somehow. Tested it again and it was back to shutting off.

Here's a video I took with the oven open and the spreader off...

Open to ideas on this. Thanks. Andy
