Code is E2 F1.

I have used the cleaning cycle 2x in 3 years, the first time it blew the control board. i paid to replace it. now 1 1/2 later we used the cleaning cycle and blew the control board again. I ordered one from your company to save a little money since my local guy wanter about $350.00 to repair again.

That new control board showed up today and it also has the same code as the old one E2 F1. Did I buy something I didn't need? $185.00, gosh I hope not, is their another part that I may need in addition? man I am in so much trouble with my wife. Please advise, If I need a different part since the two are giving the same code can I please return it and get the part I need.

Sincerely,

Robert Capaldo AKA - DOG HOUSE!

Hi Robert,

The "F1-E2" error code (shown on display from left to right) means the control board internal problem.

The part number for the control board is AP3008311 and it cost just $158.33. What is the part number you bought and why you paid $185.00 if you purchased the part from the APP?

If you bought the right part then looks like the part is defective and has to be exchanged under the part warranty.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool range Model GW395LEGT6.

Gene.
