Good afternoon,

I am trying to get to the micro-switches on the back of the J-box as I suspect one is faulty or not in correct alignment.

I have downloaded the manual and looked at other posts here, but am scratching my head as to how one goes about doing the following:

"Remove the j-box from the intake and turn it around so the back faces you, then prop it up on the ledge over the fan opening."

How can I rotate the j-box if the arm on the back of the motor prevents it from coming out? I did disconnect the arm from the linkage in the roller track, but I still see no way to remove the motor/switch assembly.

Am I supposed to access it somehow from the front and disconnect the arm from the back of the motor? The unit is installed in an island and I don't really have a way to get to the front.

I must be missing something really simple. I keep playing with it thinking I will have an "ah Ha!" moment, but now think consulting the experts is a better way forward.

I'd really appreciate if anyone can provide any insight.

Kind regards,
