I installed two new Maytag 12400035 ignitors the other day. The oven heats up, close to temp (410 vs. 450), but it doesn't keep the temp. It'll drop back down to 285 or so, and heat to 310, but it doesn't ever get back up to over 400.

Should i try yet another set of ignitors? the set i got had a shorter ceramic base than the ones they were replacing. Do i need the slightly longer ceramic base? I'm not sure if that'll help. or is it the thermometer that needs to be changed up? or something else?
