I've a Whirlpool Acubake oven (not sure of model #) that has an odd problem. When cold it ignites just fine, comes up to temp and then usually won't re-ignite but sometimes will. I took the covers above the burner off and it functions fine, always re-igniting when the covers are off. Put the cover back on and it goes back to not re-igniting. Tried this a half dozen times and it's always the case. The cover doesn't look bent and doesn't contact the igniter or burner tube. The rest of the stove works fine.

I'm at a loss, any ideas?
