Hi there. I have an issue with our oven becoming too hot. At first I figured it was the thermostat, but now I am not so sure. When the oven reaches temperature, I can hear it click which is when the element would turn off, but it is staying on. I put a thermometer in the the oven and when it is set for 350 or so, it is actually reaching over 500 degrees. Any ideas, or should I just try a new thermostat? Thanks in advance.

The c usually stands for a Canadian model so I cannot get any tech info on the unit.

You may want to check the oven sensor first.
Below is a link take a look at 7, 8, 20 and 21.
