[Temp_Me96]

I have a JGBS23BEA1WH XL44 GE Gas Electric Ignition oven. The upper stove area works great. The oven/broiler will no longer heat up, neither one. I was in the middle of using the broiler cooking some steaks when suddenly the broiler stopped working. Im pretty good with my hands but I have no idea when it comes to appliances. I do still have the manual for this oven. To the best of my knowledge I can only suspect the thermostat or the ignitor. I wouldnt think the regualtor would just go bad. The sad part of this is I cant even seem to lift the top of the stove to check anything out there, so Im guessing I need to literally take it a part to get behind the temp dial. I thought they always just lifeted up. Anyways any suggestions on what to look at or what I should do would be most appreciated. LOL! even if you can tell me how to get under the stove top would be nice. I just dont want to tear into anything I dont need to.
