Hello

Have an old (it's 20 or more years old, I messed up the header) Kenmore (GE) 911.9399582 freestanding range that lost panel control of the oven. Nothing will toggle on including bake, broil and clean. The clock functions fine otherwise as does the top elements.
Trying to diagnose this as a controller issue or not. I've looked for a replacement without success (can't verify part numner as GE or Kenmore) but if the device is analog I can diagnose it closer with some guidance. Would like to find a schematic also.
Any help is appreciated. I assume this problem is common enough to be recognized by seasoned techs?

The timer is electronic not analogue.

I cannot find any tech info on this unit.

I would check the oven sensor, see the below.
http://www.applianceaid.com/ele...-range-repair-topics.php
Take a look at 7, 8, 20 and 21.

If the sensor is good then odds are that the control board/timer is bad.

Looks like the timer is obsolete.
There are companies out there that fix obsolete timers just Google "appliance timer repair"

One thing to note is that you may need a new faceplate. This is available.
Often they get damaged if you have to remove it.
