G'day

I have a GE JTP56 double wall oven. I believe the touch panel or ERC is faulty and that I should check the ribbon cable to identify which part. However, I am having difficulty removing the whole upper casing in which these parts are contained.

I have removed the 3 screw that seem to hold hold the casing in place. I am able to push it up - so that it appears to have lifted off the keyhole hooks. But it does not lift freely away from its present position and I am loathe to force it.

Any advice?

Tks
