The large burner on our LG glasstop range won't turn off. It has HS on the burner display. How can I disconnect this burner for now and what do I need to replace to fix it?

Thanks

A model number might be helpful.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

It may be the infinite switch for this element.

Sorry but I cannot find any tech data on this unit.

It looks like it does not use infinite switches (knobs) but is controlled electronically so you need a wiring diagram to figure out what is wrong.
