Oven has history of running maybe 20-50 degrees cooler than set temp, for at least a couple of years. Today it suddenly got worse - when set to 500 it would barely get to 300. The oven was cycling the heating element on and off normally, just at too low temp. I adjusted the "oven temperature control" via special menu. Was set to +5; set to max. of +35 degrees. After that, starting cold oven got up to 450. Heating element was nice and red while heating. Removed temperature sensor, # AP3130719. It measures 1083 ohms at room temp. Can the sensor be bad even though the 25C reading is right on? What else could it be?

Update - further testing has shown that long-term, the oven cannot maintain temperature over about 275 degrees, no matter how high the temp is set. It will initially go higher if starting from cold, but once warmed for 30 minutes or so, 275 or so is max. This is with the temperature adjustment cranked to the max (+35). So can the temp sensor do that, even if it measures right on at 25C?

The oven is a drop-in, so measuring sensor resistance from the rear with it installed will be very difficult (or I would try that).
