A couple of weeks ago, baking a pizza I cranked on the broiler for a few seconds at the end of the baking cycle to bubble the cheese. The next time I used the oven, I noticed a much longer preheat time. I turned it off and on again (maybe more than once) and it worked. In the week since, it has gotten to where the bake element doesn't heat at all. I replaced the temperature sensor - no change. I measured resistance of the bake element (2-3 years old) and it reads ~16 ohms. Any ideas where to go from here? Can't really afford to replace a stove right now, and you don't realize how much you use an oven until you don't have one!

Thanks for any help you can give.
