Hi,

Dacor five burner cooktop has always been finicky about igniting (not a gas issue) ...a few years ago one burner stopped igniting completely - been manually lighting. Finally pulled it apart ...troubleshot the one burner down to the ignitor (dead short as measure by a multimeter - I have not found a troubleshooting description on line) ...the other igniters kinda bounced around a bit on the meter but worked ok.

So, cleaned everything ...gah ...used some water so probably need to wait for it to dry out ...but what I got was perplexing ...3 burners worked fine individually, the one with the bad igniter didn't work (expected), and the one closest to the inop one would cause the igniter to stay on to all the burners. Would the one completely inop igniter cause this? Was going to replace the inop igniter and see if that fixes the issue prior to considering the spark module ...make sense?
