This cooktop has 5 burners, 2 of which are XLo. The smaller of the 2 XLo burners suddenly won't light. It sparks, but I do not hear a hiss of gas. Also it will not light with a match, so no gas seems to be flowing. Honestly, it was working, I turned it off, and then turned it back on 15 minutes later and it wouldn't light. It's clean, and nothing spilled between when it worked and when it stopped.
I'm very handy, but I don't have things like an Ohm meter and specialized tools. Should I: - attempt to fix this on my own - call a repairman and pay the $$ - dump the cooktop and buy another one because it is crazy to spend $500 to fix one burner on a 14 year old cooktop, only to have all the other burners go out one at a time now.
But I love my cooktop... Help!
Thanks!
