I have a Maytag wall oven, CWE9000ACE, with controller 7601P177-60. The fan is on constantly so I suspect the fan relay is bad. I have found a couple of places online that say they can fix it, my problem is I can't figure out how to get to it. In order to remove it I need to remove the glass panel to get at the 4 screws, but in order to remove the glass panel the buttons have to be removed first.

The buttons are part number AP4104484. I have tried twisting them in both directions, I tried prying one out which just broke off the head of the button. I have tried pulling and turning and pushing and turning. They aren't budging. Do I just pull on them until the heads break off?

I see from the picture of the button there is a flat section at the end. Is this some sort of lock?
