I have a Tappan range in which the broiler does not work. I replaced the igniter. It glows nicely, and the amp draw is 3.2. If I check the ohm reading on the gas valve, both the bake and broil sides of the valve measure 1.4 ohms, so that would make me think the valve is OK. Did I miss something, or could the valve still be bad, despite its ohm reading?
