Magic Chef Downdraft "popup vent" won't turn on
Model Number: HV303-A Brand: Magic Chef Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Magic Chef 30" popup vent that will not popup or run. When I press the button I hear a humming noise (while continuously pressing the button), like the motor is trying to start, but nothing happens.
I can manually lift up the vent, but it still won't run. Again when I press the button continually I hear a quiet humming noise. If I press the button momentarily it hums while I press it for a second then then back off again when I let go. It says HV303-A, 4 Amp, 500 CFM. Help is appreciated!
