I've got a Monogram gas range. One of the burners is constantly sparking to light. The indicator light about the knob is constantly on, regardless of knob rotation position. It only is this way on one of the control knobs. The only way to stop it is killing the breaker.
I'm wondering if this is the ignitor switch, pilot light or some other failed electrical contact switch that would normally tell the knob assembly that it's in the OFF position.
I'd like to replace the part myself but I'd rather not start buying parts randomly.
Thanks!
