I have an all electric drop-in GE Profile Range. Returned from vacation to find we had had a power outage. Now the touchpad display is all lit up, so it displays as gibberish, and it doesn't respond. Resetting my home's breaker switch doesn't help. The stovetop works because the burners run off the manual knobs.

I suspect that it's the main control board and or display board is/are fried. Is there a way to determine if it's one or both?

Also, my display is at the front of the unit, just above the oven door. I assume that to access the control panel I just open the door and remove the screws that hold the frame that runs across the front frames the touchpad display. Is that correct?
