Model Number: FEFL68GMA Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
The clock/oven light will only come on when I turn on one of the elements. The element/oven do not come on and when I turn the element off, nothing works. What part(s) do I need to replace?

Replacement parts for FRG FEFL68GMA | AppliancePartsPros.com Here is the wiring diagram/tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodin...16441493en.pdf I am assuming that this unit used to work with the current electrical hook up!! I do not think that you need any parts. I think you have an electrical problem, either a wire has come off and shorted somewhere or something strange like that. For some reason turning on the element is providing power to the display. This would be half the line (120 volts) The first thing I would check is power at the plug: L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral should be 120 volts. If OK then check it at the terminal strip in the unit. If it is a 3 wire hook up check that the Neutral is hooked to ground (ground strap). If it is a 4 wire hook up ensure that the ground strap is not touching the case better yet that it is removed from the unit. Also that the green line cord wire is hooked to the frame. Be careful the unit is 240 volts which is lethal!!! If the above is OK unplug it, open it up and inspect the wires.
