Thermador drop in range.

Both left XLO burners are OK in both functions
RF Sparks a few times and stops. There is no gas either during sparking or after sparking stops.
LR does not spark but the gas FLOWS.

I would also like to replace the oven LCD display unit since it is practically unreadable.
Much appreciate any assistance

If there's no gas out of the RF burner, either the valve is bad or the orifice is clogged. To check the orifice, take the burner cap off and shine a light down through the brass tube. You'll see the orifice and the hole, out of which the gas flows. If it's clear, you have a bad gas valve.

Regarding the intermittent sparking on the RF (non-xlo), if the red light stays on, it's probably the spark module. If the red light goes out, it's either the spark switch or the simmer control module.

For the LR (xlo), spark with no gas is either the simmer control or spark module. If the red light's on, it's the spark module. If not, it's the simmer control.

The clock will have to be rebuilt by CoreCentric Solutions - 866-737-2244. Let them know you have a 486752 that needs to be rebuilt.

Thank you for your prompt and knowledgeable help. Your diagnosis was correct on all problems...

Upon close examination:

RF burner had a clogged orifice. You were correct.

RR burner had a broken spark switch You were correct. I have not found a source for this part either alone or as a surface burner valve assembly. I am looking for a suitable micro-switch from another source.

Oven Control Board: I have sent this for rebuild.

thanks again
