I noticed recently that one of the burners on my cooktop now has an extra plume of flame when it's lit. It seems like maybe the area around the burner has maybe corroded and it's letting some gas through to create another flame below the rest of the flames. I've pasted in links below so you can see what I'm trying to describe.

My question is, how dangerous is this? I've stopped using the burner but do I need to get rid of it completely and replace it? And if so does anyone know how/where I can get a replacement unit?
