I need some help with my Whirpool built in electric oven. My wife informed me that the unit made a noise and the display went out. You can push the buttons but the oven does not start. The lights come on when you open the door.

Any ideas????

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool RBD275PRS00 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

On the wiring diagram you will see a control thermal fuse perhaps that blew.
This part does not show up in the parts breakdowns so you will have to call AppliancePartsPros.

Check the wiring around at the control board.
Check the control board for signs of damage.

Note That this fuse can blow because of high temperature or current.

Below is a link to a manual, take a look at page 5-4.
