well we bought this oven used and it didn't come with a manual
and the pilot is out and we don't know how to lite it.

There are no pilots in your oven. Instead there are two igniters, one for the bake burner (#28 on the break down diagram) and another one for the broil burner (#269 on the break down diagram).

Most likely the problem is a bad igniter.

Assuming we are talking about the bake function of the oven, remove the oven floor and the flame spreader to access the bake igniter.

- The part number for the oven igniter is AP2014008
