My burner went out some time ago, I had a tech out to look at my gas log fRP and he also looked at my oven. I was told the igniter was broken he took a lighter and lite the burner and it worked! I ordered the igniter part number is correct and intalled it. turned the burner on and it still did not work. I lite the burner with a match and it worked, I turned it off/on several times while standing there and it worked. However 30min later I came back to try the burner and it did not ignite. It makes that clicking noise but wont produce a flame. Do I have a defective ingniter or is it something else where does the gas come from?? could it be due to not getting the gas? I am frustrated with this.
