Hello, The main heating element in my electric oven recently broke. I brought the broken element to the local appliance parts store and received a replacement. After installing it, the oven now has no temperature control. It goes from off, to way too hot to cook anything. Is there a chance I installed it wrong? Or is there something else that needs to be fixed? I've already checked online and the thermostat is NLA. hoping someone on this forum can help/ thanks!
