Bake element not functioning. Tried new replacement from Home depot this morning. No success.
Everything else to do with the stove is working.

The oven was functional last night, but we have noticed recently that the temperature in the bake cycle will drop and the oven will not keep its set temperature (i.e. when we reset the required temperature we notice that the current oven temperature has dropped significantly below the original set temperature). However, the elememt has always functioned until last night and today.
