We bought this stove ONLY because it was the ONLY one that would fit
in the space we had. It is clicking but not heating. Repairman came over
a week ago and is looking for a part......says this model is not being made
anymore and parts are unavailable! Any thoughts???

Here are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire PLEF489CCH Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

I am not sure what your question is?

If you are requesting help in troubleshooting this unit we need more info on what is working and what is not.

Also any info on what your repairman did to troubleshoot the problem?

Does the unit come ready or does it stay in preheat?

Etc, etc?

The oven doesn't preheat over 100 degrees. It is a double oven and the small side oven works as an oven, but it won't work as a convection. The problem with that is that the oven is SO tiny, I can't fit anything bigger than an 8" pan in it. The repair guy said this model is no longer being made and he called Fridgedairre and they don't have the necessary part.....something to do with the clock on the electrical panel. So he's looking elsewhere for a part but isn't too hopeful. I've had this less than 5 years.

Here is the wiring diagram.

I am going to assume that your repairman has checked everything else and it is a control board problem.

There are companies out there that will fix obsolete control boards.
Just Google "appliance timer repair"
