The new thermostat received two days ago will not plug into wiring because one of the prongs on the microswitch is too wide. What can I do? Can you verify that this is the correct theromstat? My order number is: #859004 and the part number is: #WB20K3. Thankyou.

Hi Jim,

The part number WB20K3 (Appliance Parts Pros part number AP2633815) is the correct part number for your oven thermostat. GE has redesigned this part and changed the terminals size. You have to cut off the old (3/16") terminal and replace it with a new 1/4" solderless terminal. You can buy it in any electical or electronic parts store or order it from Appliance Parts Pros.

- The solderless 1/4" terminals (pack of 15) Part number: AP3440459
Part number: AP3440459
