I was hoping someone could very clearly explain how to snip the old wires from the igniter for my range and attach the new igniter. I've removed my old igniter with no problem but my new igniter's wires are different.

I've been reading help forums but can't seem to understand.
I guess its so simple that a detailed explanation isn't needed for most
people. I'm assuming I re-use the adapter from the old igniter?

This was the response I got from the place I bought it from:

Cut off the connector on you old igniter. Strip the wires down 1/2". On the new one you only need to do it to one side. Twist the wires on (does not matter which to which). The thread on the supplied ceramic wire nuts and reinstall

Could someone help???

Thank you!!
