burner and oven stoped working. lights come on as indicators but no heat. what is broken?

If none of the burners or the oven now heat, you have likely lost one leg of the 240 VAC power supply. It is possible that one breaker tripped, leaving 120 VAC to run the lights and control. Turn the breaker totally off and back on and see if anything changes.
