I have to replace the gas burner control valve (Whirlpool 9757218, oven/range model SF378LEPS2) ) because the control shaft is partially broken off......preventing the knob from turning the valve (the warranty co. will not do it)......but I am not sure how to lift up the cooktop in order to replace the valve........can you help ?

Thank You,
Michael Johnson
