I tried baking the other day and food burned and noticed the top element oven was on. Even after shutting the oven off the element remained bright red. I need to keep the oven unplugged otherwise it won't shut off.

Thoughts on how to repair?

Thanks,
Ben

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

I am assuming that the broil element is ecenly red and not that one section is red.

Sounds like the control board is toast. Could be the broil relay contacts are welded together or the electronics that control this relay are bad.
