The unit was giving off a terrible smell so I popped the lid and saw this. Looks like the insulation is in direct contact with the elements and are completely roasted. Anyone know why you would design a unit that has the insulation in direct contact with the heating elements and secondly if this is repairable or repairable without the costs exceeding the value of the unit?
